Instructor Biography
Hey, I’m Hunter! I am a pole dancer, pole competitor, and pole dance instructor in Michigan. I have a Master’s in social work and bring my experience in mental health, individual empowerment, and strength-based approaches to pole instruction. I have been pole dancing for a little over 3 years and pole tricks are my groove!
My love for the sport drove me to start competing shortly after I began pole. I have competed in 9 competitions and have competed 15 different routines. I love competing in a variety of categories because the act of artistic expression brings me so much joy! I love helping others build and connect to their pieces to achieve their competition goals.
I have trained in Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Thailand, and Greece! I had the honor of receiving pole training from Claudia Renee, Wendy Lee, Loa Koalita, Kseniia Kochenkova, and Kira Noire. I completed the IPSF Anatomy, Physiology, and Biomechanics certification.
I am so grateful to be teaching online and have had the opportunity to connect with so many wonderful dancers that I otherwise would not have met!
